Bacteriostatic Water (BAC Water) — Research Reference Bacteriostatic Water is sterile water for injection containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative, used in laboratory research settings to reconstitute lyophilized peptides. Each multi-dose vial from Neurova is sealed, sterile, and intended for laboratory research use only. Not for human consumption, diagnostic, or therapeutic use.
Bacteriostatic Water is the standard diluent referenced across peptide-research literature for reconstituting lyophilized research peptides. The 0.9% benzyl alcohol acts as a bacteriostatic agent that inhibits bacterial growth, allowing multi-dose vials to maintain sterility across repeated withdrawals during extended research protocols.
Store at controlled room temperature (15-30°C). Do not freeze. Use sterile technique when withdrawing for reconstitution. Discard 28 days after first puncture per standard laboratory practice.
Each lot of BAC Water is independently tested for sterility and benzyl alcohol concentration. The Certificate of Analysis is publicly available so research labs can verify lot-specific sterility and composition before use in experimental protocols.
